Sports specific training is simply fitness and performance training designed specifically for athletic performance enhancement.
Training programs for athletic performance enhancement could include areas as strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility, mobility, agility, mental preparedness (including goal setting), recovery/regeneration techniques and strategies, nutrition and injury risk reduction.
A general program should include all of these components, whereas a more specific program may only include a few, depending upon the athlete’s specific needs (based on strengths, weaknesses and/or imbalances) and the demands of the sport he/she participates in.
How we Train
For our Sport Performance program we follow carefully our SPEAR methodology and use it effectively in order to ensure a proper development of the basic Athletic skills* applied to the specific sport of the athlete.
*(Strength, Power, Endurance, Agility and Reaction)
Our workouts always consist of functional movement training, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on proper technique. The trainings become more challenging once the technique is properly executed.
We work with all level athletes, from professionals until weekend players who just want to keep a good level for their amateur tournaments.
You don’t need to be a professional athlete to train like one of them.
