Sports specific training is simply fitness and performance training designed specifically for athletic performance enhancement.
Training programs could include areas as strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility, mobility, agility, mental preparedness (including goal setting), recovery/regeneration techniques and strategies, nutrition and injury risk reduction.
A general program should include all of these components, whereas a more specific program may only include a few, depending upon the athlete’s specific needs (based on strengths, weaknesses and/or imbalances) and the demands of the sport he/she participates in.
How we Train
For our Sports Performance program we carefully follow our SPEAR methodology (Strength, Power, Endurance, Agility and Reaction) and use it effectively for a proper development of the basic Athletic skills applied to the specific sport of the athlete.
Our workouts always consist of functional movement training, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on proper technique. Once the athlete masters the technique and it is properly executed, the trainings become progressively more challenging.
We work with all level athletes from professionals to weekend players who just want to keep a good level for their amateur tournaments.
You don’t need to be a professional athlete to train like one of them.
